Friday, November 23, 2018 - Friday, November 23, 2018 (6 - 8:30pm)
Along Hartz Avenue, CA
Get Directions

The Town of Danville has celebrated the lighting of the old oak tree for many years. Locals gather on Diablo Road to welcome in the holiday season by lighting up the giant Oak tree. Once the tree is lit, folks walk back into town along Prospect to Hartz Way starting around 7 PM. The chamber estimates the crowd at between 5,000 and 10,000 people. We are offering 20 free spaces as an opprtunity to determine the viability of establishing this event as annual shopping event for the town. Due to the presence of a number of women's clothing and jewelry shops along the event site, we will not be accepting any applications for women's apparel or accessories.  All spaces will be 10' x 10' and located on the street. No tents ot displays  are provided. Artists should plan on bringing their own lighting and power source (small quiet generator OK). There are a number of electrical outlets along the event site that can handle limited electrical needs.
